To combat cold nights, a Buddy Heater fed by an external propane tank keeps things warm and cozy. My main living and cooking area is the Clam Quick-Set Pavilion. This screened enclosure is a game-changer for keeping bugs out while still enjoying the outdoors. I've outfitted it with two six-foot folding tables that hold my kitchen appliances and other gear. For lounging, a pair of comfortable zero gravity chairs are a must-have.Why It Works

The real secret weapon for comfort in the Clam Quick-Set Pavilion is my custom-made 'sunfly' on top. This Mylar tarp reflects an impressive 99% of the sun's rays. This simple addition completely eliminates the greenhouse effect you usually get inside a tent or screen house on a hot day, making the interior remarkably cool and pleasant. For power, I've integrated multiple portable power stations: the Bluetti EB3A, the EcoFlow Delta, and the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max. These units are fed by a robust solar array, ensuring I have ample electricity for all my needs. The EcoFlow Wave 2 portable air conditioner and heater provides climate control, working exceptionally well to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the pavilion. My DIY camp sink is another personal creation, designed for convenience. It uses a 12V pump powered by an 18V Makita tool battery (stepped down to 12V), drawing water from a large jug. The pump splits the water flow to both a kitchen-style faucet and a sprayer. For hot water, a Gasland tankless water heater is connected, providing instant hot water for dishes or even a quick shower. Water is sourced from a nearby creek and run through a two-stage gravity-fed filter system before being used for non-drinking purposes, reducing the need to haul large quantities of potable water.Parts & Specs
