Math & Run-Time Numbers
During my tests, the Junbpaw LGE-3080 demonstrated impressive capabilities. When starting a 15,000 BTU portable air conditioner, the Victron SmartShunt recorded a peak surge of approximately 1047W before settling down to around 800W, which the inverter handled without issue.
A key highlight is the inverter's incredibly low idle power consumption. When nothing was plugged in, the Junbpaw LGE-3080 drew only 6W from the battery. To put this in perspective, I compared it to a large Renogy 3000W low-frequency inverter, which consumed a hefty 51W in idle. Over time, that difference in standby consumption can significantly impact your overall battery run-time.
For heavy load testing, I used an electric space heater (around 1270W) and a heat gun (up to 1200W).
